The Morrison Rotary November 2018 Students of the Month are Molly Neumann and Jacob Brown.
Molly is the daughter of Cheryl and Ryan Neumann. She is very active at Morrison High School. She participates in the B.L.I.N.D. program and Key Club and competed on the Scholastic Bowl team in the past. She is currently Secretary of Student Council. Molly loves to play trumpet in Jazz Band and French horn in Concert Band. She was on the Football Pons team. Molly is a Girl Scout Ambassador. She has taken several mission trips through the Emmanuel Church youth group, traveling to Madison, and Milwaukee, WI, and South Dakota. She plans to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago, IL, to major in Architecture.
Jacob is the son of Julie and Jim Brown. He is active in the B.L.I.N.D. program and Key Club. He has enjoyed trick-or-treating for food for UNICEF. He starred in the “Wizard of Oz,” which got him excited about theater. Last year he played the lead character in “Tarzan.” He is an active member of Student Council. He has participated in three sports: Basketball, Track, and Golf. Jacob’s current college plans are to take his Pre-Pharmacy courses at Sauk Valley College and then advance to the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy, at Rockford Campus.
