Announcing, the Annual Book and Bake Sale at Odell Public Library on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The City of Morrison Community Room will be filled with books for all levels and all interests. In the lobby, tempting you with delicious tastes and smells, will be a wide variety of baked goods made by Morrison’s great cooks. All monies benefit our community library.
For one time only, the Friends of Odell Public Library are selling unique and creative bookmarks, made from the spines of older books and backed with leather. Each of these “library” bookmarks will make a great gift for a reader.
If you have never attended the Book and Bake Sale, this is a tremendous opportunity for readers and eaters! Prices for books range from $1 for hardback books-to-50¢ for paperbacks. Children’s books are 50¢ and 25¢. What a bargain!
Put this date on the calendar for a first time visit or an annual return. A tip for first timers is, “Bring a bag or box to carry home your purchases.”
