Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, November 17, 2017.
Arrests: On Monday, November 20, 2017, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Patrick L. Hamilton, age 37 of Morrison, IL, at E. Morris and S. Genesee Streets for a moving violation. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested Hamilton charging him with Driving While License Revoked, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Hamilton was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released on a Notice to Appear for December 28, 2017.
On Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 410 S. Heaton Street, Morrison, IL, regarding a domestic dispute. As a result of the investigation, Seth D. Peterson, age 18 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Criminal Damage to Property. Peterson was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
