November 16 Morrison Police Report

Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, November 16, 2018.

Arrests:  On Saturday, November 17, 2018, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Morrison Police responded to DaBar, 109 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, regarding an assault.  As a result of the on-scene investigation, Michael J. Tarbill, age 31 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery and Public Fighting.  Tarbill was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  The Morrison Community Hospital Emergency Medical Services and the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morrison Police.

On Sunday, November 18, 2018, at approximately 6:27 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 631 E. Lincolnway, Apartment 1, Morrison, IL, regarding a Domestic Dispute.  As a result of the on-scene investigation, Matthew T. McCole, age 36 of Morrison, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery and Unlawful Interference with the Reporting of Domestic Violence.  McCole was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.  The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Morrison Police.
