Patients, staff, and guests of Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, were serenaded by the Kindergarten and 1st grade students from Northside Elementary school. The children performed on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Ms. Scholl led the kindergarten kids in classics, such as “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth;” “Frosty the Snowman;” “The 12 Days of Christmas;” the kids’ favorite, “Jingle Bells.” It featured a variation of words sung to the tune “We Will Rock You.”
Afterwards, the 80-child choir of 1st graders entertained the crowd with other Christmas songs.
As one patient said, “This really makes having to spend the holidays in the hospital a little more joyous”
Afterwards, Dody Ogburn and her dietary staff sent home sugar cookies with all the kids. That was a hit!
