The community is invited to enjoy an open-air service on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Brethren in Christ Church, 209 E. Knox Street (across the street from Sullivan’s Foods), Morrison, IL.
Bluegrass worship trio “No Worries” will entertain. Visitors are encouraged to bring a chair for outdoor seating, as weather allows.
Terry O’Malley (guitar/banjo/mandolin/vocals) is in front; standing left-to-right are Mary Jean Hammer (mandolin/guitar/piano/vocals) and Mary Berryhill (bass/violin/vocals.)
O’Malley is a seasoned musician, playing with his family and other bands since he was a teenager. Hammer has played piano for her church for decades and has played with other bands before joining “No Worries.” Berryhill has been a part of her church worship team for many years, singing harmonies and playing keyboard and bass. All three are from the Stockton, IL, area.
“No Worries” plays a variety of music, mainly bluegrass gospel, hymns, oldies, country, folk, pop, and rock ‘n’ roll.
There is no charge for the performance. Light refreshments will be served.
