The scheduled game against Forreston-Polo and the Morrison Mustangs was changed to a friendly match between two former teammates and stars from Rock Falls High School. Morrison head coach, Ben Sondgeroth, and Steling coach , Robbie Minor, were classmates and teammates for the Rock Falls Rockets. The schedule opening allowed them to return to the diamond in a different situation and allow the teams an opportunity to stay focused prior to regional action next week.
The ony offense the Mustangs could muster was three walks and two singles by Alex Volckmann. The Sterling Warriors collected thirteen hits against Mason Sitzmore and Brock Deter to end the afternoon witth a 14-1 win.
