Nicholas Ray Lowery, 40, of Morrison, IL, died Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Morrison Community Hospital, in Morrison.
Nicholas was born January 15, 1981, in Morrison, to Leonard Ray and Debra (Engelkens) Lowery. He was educated in the Morrison grade schools, and he was a graduate of Morrison High School. He attended Clinton Community College in Clinton, IA. Nicholas worked at Climco Coils in Morrison and Metform in Savanna, IL. He was an avid Packers Fan, loved skateboarding and fishing, and enjoyed playing basketball and collecting cards.
Survivors include daughter, Peyton Lowery of Morrison; son, Dyllan Lowery of Davenport, IA; mother and step-father, Debra (Ted) Lowery-Schminkey of Morrison; sister, Becky Lowery-Collins of Clinton; brother, Chris (Cat) Lowery of Cedar Rapids, IA; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Suzy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Ray; half-brother, Leonard Isenhart; maternal and paternal grandparents.
A public Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the Visitation.
A Memorial has been established.
