The long-anticipated move of the Morrison Community Hospital Family Care Clinic, from the ground floor entrance off E. Knox Street, is about to become a reality. Effective Thursday, May 5, 2016, we will treat patients in our newly remodeled Family Care Clinic, located on the first floor. This area previously was occupied by our Four Seasons Center.
Patients will enter the hospital at the main entrance, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, and park in the main hospital parking lot. They will proceed through the main entrance doors and walk down the hallway. The entrance to the Family Care Clinic is on the left.
Rehabilitation patients will still enter the hospital in the Knox Street entrance.
Walk-ins are welcome or appointments can be made with our Providers–Dr. Risha Raven, Dr. Nicky Eustace, Dr. George Georgiev–or our Nurse Practitioner Cindy Johnson by calling 815-772-5511. The clinic will be open 361 days per year, seven days per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The new space will increase the number of exam rooms from six to 12. Each room will be much larger. The clinic will include a procedure room as well.
Another benefit of having the clinic on the main floor is that patients will no longer need to take the elevator to the Laboratory or Radiology Department. The new location is strategically located right next to our Cafeteria for patients and their caregivers wishing to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Framed photos on the wall depict Morrison landmarks photographed by local artist Steve Siefken. They were framed by Wayne Hook. The Family Care Clinic sign was crafted by John Martin.
We thank the MCH Maintenance staff for their efforts to remodel each room.
Plan to attend our formal Open House on Sunday, June 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Nurses Kelli McCormick, left, and Nina Damhoff await you at the new registration desk in the Family Care Clinic.
