Nancy Carol Rector, 80, of Morrison, IL, died on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Pleasant View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Morrison.
Nancy was born on July 31, 1941, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Chester and Helen (Sanders) Cross. She married Merele Allen and later married Richard “Dick” Rector on June 16, 1984, in Morrison. Dick predeceased her on May 10, 1995. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Mount Saint Claire Academy in Clinton. She was employed at Climco Coils in Morrison for 24 years, retiring in 2001. Nancy was a baptized member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrison, where she was actively involved in many church functions.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; special friend, John Sheehan, of Maquoketa, IA.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dick; son in infancy, Lee Edward Allen; sisters, Doris Kramer and Edna Reynolds.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Private family Interment will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, in Clinton, IA, with Pastor John Reynolds officiating.
