The NAMI Sauk Area Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in a conference room that Sinnissippi Centers provides for our use, at 325 IL Route 2, Dixon, IL.
This meeting provides education as well as support to families struggling with a diagnosis of mental illness in a relative or friend.
The Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 p.m., prior to the support group meeting. NAMI Sauk Area members and friends are welcome.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We will be discussing the upcoming Spring Forum on Wednesday, May 10, at 5:30 p.m., at the Dixon Elks Lodge, 1279 Franklin Grove Road, Dixon. It is entitled “Changing the Conversation About Mental Illness.”
NAMI Sauk Area is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and NAMI Illinois, serving the residents of Ogle, Lee, Carroll, Whiteside, and surrounding Counties.
