On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the Sherrard Tigers paid a visit to the Morrison Mustangs and took home a convincing 60 – 38 win.
The first half action involved a patient Sherrard offense against the Morrison zone. The half ended on a last-second three-pointer by Jaylon Shelby, to give Sherrard a 25-21 lead. The Mustang defense allowed the Tigers a 20-point third period. They struggled with a 7-point quarter in response, and the deficit was too much to overcome for the Mustangs.
Trey Strating (10) and Andre McQueen (12) were the only double-digit scorers of the five that made the scorebook for the Mustangs.
