The Morrison Mustangs journeyed to Kewanee and battled back from an early first quarter deficit to fall three points short 71-68.
The Mustangs fell behind by eleven points in the first quarter, but fought back with the aid of the three-pointer and entered the final quarter down only three. Alex Volckmann scored a season high twenty-three points (3-3 pointers) and was joined by Matt Wilkens, Alex Weeks and Brock Deter with success from beyond the arch. In total , the Mustangs drilled nine three-pointers on the evening and only Dalton Ince could find the three-point touch for the Boilermakers., but he drilled four from beyond the arch and ended the night with 25 points to lead all scorers.
