The Morrison Mustangs ended pool play at the Cliff Warkins Memorial Holiday Tournament at Erie, IL, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, by controlling the Rebels from Stark County 49-36.
Morrison’s three-quarter court pressure constantly forbid the Stark County Rebels from getting into their offensive transition. That allowed the Mustangs to build a 14-point halftime lead. A third quarter run cut the Mustang lead to nine, but they responded and kept the lead above ten the remainder of the game. The win advances the season record to 4-7.
