Rock Island Pioneers are not often listed on the Morrison Mustang Basketball schedule. The Western Big 6 member invited the TRAC 8 member on Saturday, January 22, 2022, and fell by the score of 63 – 33.
The Mustangs jumped out to a 21-to-4, first quarter advantage and never looked back. Andre McQueen earned eight of his game-high 21 points in the opening period. Trey Strating collected six of his game total 14, as they established the insurmountable first-quarter lead.
McQueen and Strating were joined on the offensive end with Alex Anderson’s 14 points and Mason Dyksta’s nine points.
