Music lovers of all ages are encouraged to attend the first “Music Trivia Night,” hosted by the Morrison High School Pons team. Bring your team of eight to the Super Wash Training Center, 657 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Limited tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased by calling Jill Beswick at 815-213-1159. If any remain, purchases may be made at the door on Sunday.
Proceeds will be used to purchase competition uniforms and pay for accompanying entry fees and hotels.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; the tuneful competition is from 5:00 to 7:00.
Listen to songs from all genres–Rock and Roll, Country, Oldies, and Rap for example–then name that tune and artist. You can earn two points per musical question. There will be eight rounds of ten questions, with a Bonus question per round for double the points. A prize goes to the team with the highest points.
Mulligans will be available for $10 per sheet , with a maximum of 20 mulligans per team.
Baked sale items, popcorn, pop, and water will be available for purchase.
