Morrison Winter Park on W. Winfield Street (in Waterworks Park) is officially open for those interested in ice skating.
The newly-constructed rink has had delayed openings, due to the warmer temperatures and a recent incident of vandalism. Diligent attention to repairs and the preparation of the surface are complete.
The rink is available to skaters daily, from sunrise to 10:00 p.m., with only the weather as a deterrent affecting ice conditions and restricting usage. Users of the rink must bring their own skates.
