Morrison Mustangs Varsity beat Oregon, IL, 13-4 in seven innings on Monday, April 6, 2015, after a seven-run explosion in the fourth inning.
The Mustangs scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Ethan Fischbach, a two-run single by Justin Jensen, a two-run triple by Mason Sitzmore, an error, and an RBI single by Chance Bender.

Sitzmore racked up two RBI’s on three hits.
Brock Smith recorded the win for Morrison. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Smith struck out seven, walked one, and gave up eight hits.
Oregon’s Cook was charged with the loss. He allowed 11 runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four, and struck out four.
The game’s last lead went to Morrison Varsity, thanks to a second inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Andy Bird and an RBI single by Bender.
The Mustangs scored one run in each of the third, fifth, and seventh innings. In the third, they scored on a groundout by Smith, plating Jensen.
A three-run third inning helped bring Oregon within one. An RBI single by Stromberg and a two-run error sparked Oregon’s rally.
