For the second year in a row, Morrison Rotary Club received the District 6420 Public Image Award. The award is based on a set of criteria in five areas of media: Print, Broadcast, Newsletter, Public Visibility, and Website/Social Media. There are 47 clubs in the District, and three Public Image Awards are given, based on club size.
Kathy Schmidt is the District Public Image Chair. She presented the award to 2012-2013 Morrison Rotary President Kevin Schisler at the District Conference in May 2013.
Leadership changed hands on Wednesday, July 3. Morrison Rotary thanked Kevin Schisler for his year in service and welcomed in-coming President Dr. Suellen Girard. Dr. Girard has been a member of Morrison Rotary since 2008 and looks forward to her year serving the club and the community.
