Morrison Chief of Police Brian Melton reports the following Arrests made and Citations issued since Friday, March 15, 2019.
Arrests: On Saturday, March 23, 2019, at approximately 7:55 p.m., during a traffic stop, Morrison Police arrested Lucas A. Phillips, age 34 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Phillips with Failure to Appear/Violation of Probation-Burglary. Phillips was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Monday, March 25, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 702 W. Park Street, Morrison, IL, regarding a violation of an Order of Protection. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Ryan W. Belcher, age 32 of Morrison, with Violation of an Order of Protection. Belcher was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Morrison Police responded to 512 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, regarding a complaint of a fight. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged a Male, age 19 of Morrison, with two counts of Aggravated Assault. He was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
