The following Arrests were made and Citations issued since Friday, January 15, 2021.
Arrests: On Saturday, January 16, 2021, at approximately 4:08 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Scott A. Denning, age 29 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County, charging Denning with Failure to Appear-Possession of Methamphetamine. Denning was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Sunday, January 17, 2021, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Morrison Police responded to 636 E. Lincolnway Road, Morrison, IL, regarding a male yelling for help near Dollar General. As a result of the investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Alberto Weatherby, age 35 of Rock Falls, IL, with Disorderly Conduct. Weatherby was released on a Notice to Appear. This incident remains under investigation.
On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at approximately 1:09 p.m., Morrison Police arrested Skyler D. Briggs, age 31 of Sterling, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Lee County, charging Briggs with Contempt. Briggs was released on a Notice to Appear.
