The following Arrests were made, and Citations issued, since Friday, February 16, 2024.
Arrests:
On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Morrison Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of W. Winfield Street, Morrison, IL, on a vehicle in violation of the Illinois Vehicle Code. During the stop it was discovered Christopher Sawyer, 18 years of age, from Morrison, was wanted on a Robbery warrant, authority Knox County. Passenger Maverick Denning, 18 years of age, from Morrison, was found to be unlawfully consuming, and in possession of, alcohol. Sawyer was transported to the Whiteside County Jail to await extradition. Denning was cited on scene and released.
