Morrison Police Chief Brian Melton reports the following arrests made and citations issued since Friday, August 9, 2013.
The following Arrests are reported.
On Friday, August 9, 2013, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Treva J. Karrow, age 38 of Prophetstown, IL, on Portland Avenue (IL Route 78) for a moving violation. As a result of further investigation during the traffic stop, Karrow was arrested for Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Karrow was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and then released on a Notice to Appear with a court date of Thursday, September 12.
On Sunday, August 11, 2013, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Morrison Police arrested Nathan Q. Sandell, age 22 of Morrison, IL, pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Ogle County charging Sandell with Contempt. Sandell was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
