Morrison Police Department is investigating at least four burglaries to motor vehicles that took place between Sunday, June 11, and Monday, June 12, 2017, in the area of E. High Street, Christopher Street, Coralyn Drive, and Jenkran Street, Morrison, IL. During these burglaries, cash and miscellaneous personal property were taken. The unknown suspect(s) are entering unlocked/open vehicles.
Morrison Police Department is asking for the public’s help. If anyone has any information regarding these burglaries or other crimes, please contact the Morrison Police at 815-772-7659 or by calling the Whiteside County Crime Stoppers at 815-625-7867. Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $1000 for information leading to an arrest(s). Callers may remain anonymous.
Morrison Police Department would also like to remind and strongly urge residents to:
- keep your vehicles, garages, and homes locked/secured
- leave outside lighting on, which can also help deter criminal activity
- immediately report anything suspicious to Police, regardless of how minor or trivial it may seem at the time.
