On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at approximately 8:30 p.m., multiple 9-1-1 calls were received of a shooting at 507 W. Main Street, Morrison, IL. A 24-year-old female and an 18-year-old male, both residents at this address, were victims of the shooting. A suspect vehicle had fled the scene. The 24-year-old female was transported to CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. The 18-year-old male was first transported to the Morrison Community Hospital and then airlifted to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a 24-year-old male was taken into custody and is being held at the Whiteside County Jail, with charges pending. Additional information and names may be released later today, Wednesday, October 23. This is an active investigation.
