From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Morrison Police Department created a Halloween destination, on Monday, October 31, 2022, in the City of Morrison, IL, parking lot. There was good visibility to attract visitors to the southwest corner of N. Base Street and Lincolnway. Various chocolates were presented.
Armed with candy, left-to-right, were Chief Kevin Soenksen; Officer Chad Hermes; his wife, Heather; Officer T. J. Spencer.
“A couple other Officers are walking around,” noted Chief Soenksen.
About 4:30, a family unit approached the table. These were special people in Officer Spencer’s life. His aunt, Shari Kaufman from Morrison, is standing with the adult Police Officers. She is grandmother to the youngsters. The siren of her black, cardboard, squad was loud!
