Remember the date Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from noon to 4:00 p.m. The Lions Mobile Vision Screening unit will be at the DQ Grill &Chill parking lot, 200 N. Sawyer Road, Morrison, IL. This is an opportunity for anyone to have a free eye screening. It is a simple photo of each eye that is submitted to a lab for evaluation. A report is completed and forwarded directly to the individual. If problems such as cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, or other retinal disorders are observed, the report will recommend that you see an optometrist or ophthalmologist. The screening is free to all individuals. Children not of age must have written consent of parent or guardian.
Early detection of eye problems is of utmost importance. Our club is making the unit available to the community as a way of fulfilling our motto, “We Serve.”
