Morrison Lions Club participated in the Morrison Chamber of Commerce “Back to School Bash” held Saturday, August 1, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds.  Children were entertained with a bounce house, slide, and a scavenger hunt.  They were rewarded at tables, as they hunted for scavenger items showing on their registration card with useful school items.

President Hamstra and Lion Darlene Smith assisted children with finding scavenger items on the table and entering the guessing contest.

Morrison Lions Club asked children to guess the number of pennies in a pig-shaped bank.  The winner closest to the correct number was Kacie Roy.  She received the filled bank.  President Keith Hamstra is shown with the happy winner.

The event was well attended, and children enjoyed the afternoon.
