rosebouquetWith Governor J. B. Pritzker’s “Stay in Place” order and for the safety of Lions Club members and our community who supports our fundraisers, Morrison, IL, Lions Club canceled delivery of roses.  The annual rose sale was scheduled for Good Friday, April 10, 2020.  This fundraiser supports two collegiate scholarships and the CGH “Eyeglasses for Kids” program, which provides eyeglasses for Morrison area children.

Member Bob Smith stated, “Our club is hopeful to have a rose sale in the future, when all have recovered from this pandemic.  Lions sincerely thanks all who support our fundraisers throughout the year.  Without your support we could not fulfill our motto, “We Serve.”

For those who have paid for their roses, please contact the member who sold to you, if they have not been able to contact you.

We, as Lions, will continue to serve.  We ask that all come together and adhere to the rules set forth by our governing bodies.  Remember, This, too, shall pass.”
