The Morrison Hospital Auxiliary Officers note that spring is here, Ladies, and it’s time for our Annual Spring Tea. It will be held at Morrison United Methodist Church, 200 W. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. We have a fun program lined up for you.
The Morrison High School Choral group will entertain with songs from their upcoming production of the musical “The Wizard of Oz.”
Delicious refreshments will be made and served by Dody and her Dietary Staff from the hospital.
We will elect new officers and hope you will be there to welcome them into office for the next two years. Also, we will award scholarships to students who are pursuing or continuing their education in the medical field.
Mick Welding, our new Marketing Director, will be on hand to give you a brief detail of what is new at the hospital.
Scrub sales, book sales, jewelry sales, and our Bake/Treasure sales were all very successful in 2013. We want to thank you for your support and donations for the Bake/Treasure sale in December. With these proceeds we were able to present the scholarships and also purchase medical equipment the hospital needs.
If you would like to renew your membership, it is still only $5 a year. You may pay your dues at the tea or send your dues to Flora Stralow at 16166 Liberty Street, Morrison, IL, 61270.
