Earth Day is Saturday, April 22, 2023. Celebrate Earth Day by helping Morrison Garden Club haul and spread mulch at Odell Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL. We are looking for volunteers to help the group.
If you have a student in the Sauk Valley Impact program, and he or she still needs service hours for this school year, please think about signing them up. Adults are welcome and needed, too!
We will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. and work until finished. (The date or time is subject to change due to the weather.) Updates to date and time will be posted on our Facebook page.
Twenty yards of mulch is a very large pile, so community help is definitely needed. Bring your shovel, metal garden rake, work gloves, and a wheelbarrow, if you have one. Plan on getting dirty!
Treats and water will be provided.
