Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend the Morrison Fire Department Annual Pancake Breakfast, on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The men will serve pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, milk, and coffee. The cost of a delicious meal is a donation to the Morrison Fire Department. The fire station at 206 W. Main Street, in Morrison, IL, will be open from 7:00 a.m.until 1:00 pm.
All donations will help the Morrison Fire Department provide and maintain proper equipment and tools, to perform the services they provide to the community of Morrison, IL. In the past couple of years MFD has used monies received from these events to purchase items like grain bin rescue equipment, as well as air packs and compressed air bottles. The grain bin rescue equipment will help aid MFD with any emergencies where someone is trapped in a grain bin. Air packs and compressed air bottles will allow members to perform their duties for extended periods of time, while needing the use of compressed air.
