The Morrison Fillies co-op swim team competed in the Freeport, IL, Invitational on Saturday, September 24, 2016. All three relays representing Morrison came in second place. A very close Medley relay race finished 1.34 seconds behind the Byron, IL, first place team. The Fillies placed 5th out of 11 teams participating, with Fresh/Soph scores being calculated into the results. That was not bad, for not having any Fresh/Soph entries. Morrison received medals/ribbons in all Varsity events. Sydney Norman swam an incredible 200 Individual Medley race, swimming a 2:28.98 and claiming a first place win. Results follow.
