Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, is planning the third expansion in the past five years. Pam Pfister, CEO, presented an architectural rendering of the new expansion to the Morrison City Council on Monday, June 10, 2024.
The expansion is projected to cost about $14 million, which will be paid for with cash reserves.
This 12,000 sq. ft. addition will be built on the south side of the current hospital and will be accessible from Knox Street. The new space will feature a first floor with Primary and Urgent Care services. The second floor will be reserved for future use, to adapt to the hospital’s future needs.
Current plans are to break ground in October.
