If you’ve never seen people trying to play basketball on donkeys, then you must come to this! Morrison Athletic Boosters are sponsoring a Donkey Basketball Game featuring local celebrities. Come see all the fun on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the fun begins at 6:30.
In the first game the Morrison Firemen will be taking on the Morrison Area Businesses. The second game has the Morrison Teachers playing against the Morrison Athletic Boosters. A championship game will follow, with winners from the first two rounds playing each other.
- Prior to the game, Morrison Cheerleaders will be selling donkey tattoos.
- There will be a “Kiss the Donkey Contest.”
- Between games, free donkey rides will be offered to the first 125 kids.
Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door. Purchase advance tickets at Farmers Insurance Office, 127 E. Main Street, Morrison.
