The Piranhas Swim Club hosted a “Swim Your Own Age Meet” at the Davenport, IA, North High School Pool on Saturday, January 3, through Sunday, January 4, 2015. Fifteen Seahorses participated in this first meet of the new year. This meet was unique, in that swimmers were able to swim against kids that were their own age–rather than in the age groups that swim meets normally have. 2015 is proving to be a good year for the Seahorses, as they had 82 Top-8 finishes and 56 Lifetime Best swims. Landri Harmon also made a Regional cut in the 100 Backstroke. Skylar Drolema and Kate Henson made State cuts in the 100 IM, and Henson also made the State cut in the 50 Backstroke. Congratulations Seahorses! The Seahorses will travel to Byron, IL, on Saturday, January 31, to compete in the Stateline Winter Conference Meet.
