John Koeppen, originally from McHenry, IL, has been named Student of the Month for November 2016, at Morrison Institute of Technology for making a positive impact on the college.
Koeppen, a second-year student in Morrison Tech’s mechanical program, is the son of Bob Koeppen and Jennifer Greske, both of McHenry. “John should be recognized as Morrison Tech’s Student of the Month because he has been an active member of the school’s student body,” his nominator said. “He has been a Student Ambassador, helped the Admissions staff at college fairs and volunteered to have his room shown when prospective students tour the campus. We appreciate all that he does for Morrison Tech.” After graduating in May 2017, Koeppen said he will seek employment in the northern Illinois or eastern Iowa area. He hopes to land a job in the design and drafting field.
