Reiter’s presentation is entitled “The Road To Freedom:  A History of the 108th Regiment.”  It outlines a brief history of the Regiment. Focus is on 12 men who came to Rock Island County via the underground rail road and then voluntarily enlisted in the Regiment. The talk follows the footsteps of these men and what the Regiment meant for them.
