Mammoth Farm in Michigan grows a variety of fruits and vegetables for sale to Morrison, IL, area customers: from cherries in June, to peaches and blueberries in August, and many varieties of apples until October.
All the fruit is handpicked by experienced people who have helped on the farm for many years. This means there will be minimal bruising of any of the fruit. Peaches are ripened on the tree and quickly cooled, to make shipping successful. They will need to warm up and sit for a couple days to get the best flavor.
Blueberries are also handpicked, sorted, and cooled.
