On Thursday, March 15, 2018, the Morrison Police Department detained and charged a male juvenile, age 14 of Morrison, IL, with Disorderly Conduct, a Class 3 Felony. The juvenile was transported to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, was processed, and then was released to his mother.
The charge against the juvenile is the result of an investigation that was initiated on Thursday, March 8, 2018, after Morrison High School was made aware of a threat of violence made against specific students at school. Immediate action was taken to ensure the safety of the students, the school, and the juvenile suspect. The investigation continued thereafter.
Morrison Police Department was assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office with this investigation.
