Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL, will hold its second annual Career Fair on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the cafeteria.
Feature d will be representatives from 30 businesses/organizations; Sauk Valley Community College; Morrison Institute of Technology; Clinton Community College; Educators of Beauty College of Cosmetology; the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC.)
The event will be held the same evening as Parent-Teacher Conferences.
The Career Fair is sponsored by Morrison High School and the Career Fair Subcommittee of the Bright Horizons Committee. This group has its roots in the “Mapping the Future of Morrison” initiative, which is sponsored by Morrison Area Development Corporation, and facilitated by Western Illinois University’s Institute for Rural Affairs.
Presenters will be at tables lining the perimeter of the cafeteria. Students, parents/guardians, and other attendees are urged to circulate from table to table, meet the presenters, and learn more about career fields of interest.
