Merit Commission Taking Applications for Records Clerk

Whiteside County Sheriff’s Merit Commission is accepting applications through Friday, June 1, 2018, for the position of Records Clerk.  This job involves records data entry, answering phones, and assisting the general public.

This is a full-time union position, at 40 hours per week.  The position pays $11 per hour plus benefits.

Computer navigation and typing skills are necessary as well as experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Other equipment used will be fax, copier, and scanner.

A High School Diploma is required.

Candidates must be 21 years or older to apply.  The successful applicant must pass a background investigation and drug screen.

Applications must be picked up in person at the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center, 400 N. Cherry Street, Morrison, IL.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
