Meet Dan Gable–A Legend

Posted by

Sports figures are too easily called “legends.” Their records of exceptional performance are too short to deserve the title. They usually leave the sport with little influence on it, beyond individual data and deeds. Rarely do athletes devote their post career to transferring their skills across a wide younger audience. Outstanding careers end, but legendary status must be ongoing throughout an athlete’s lifetime. It must endure beyond the individual to leave a lasting impact.
