MCUD Offers Respite for Families After Storm

In an effort to assist those families still without power from yesterday’s [Monday, August 25, 2014,] storm, Morrison Junior High, 305 E. Winfield Street, Morrison, IL, will be open to the public on Tuesday, August 26….Families may shower, charge cell phones, get a reprieve from the weather, or anything else that can be done to help.  The building will be open from 5:30 until 7:00  p.m. or later if there is a need.  If you need to charge electronic devices, please bring a power strip if you have one.  We will be playing a movie for the children during this time in the air conditioned band room.  Please feel free to pass this on to others in need.
