The 2nd Annual Holiday Tour of Homes, sponsored by Morrison Community Hospital Foundation, is just weeks away. The public is cordially invited to attend. Tickets are now available.
Five homes are in the City of Morrison, IL, on three streets; visit them in any order. Owners are Gosch (301 E. Wall); Olson (104 W. High); Stenson (106 W. High); Roggy (108 W. Morris); VanDrew (503 W. Morris.)
Festivities begin Thursday, December 1, with an “Evening of Tidings and Candles” from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. This exclusive preview is limited to 100 guests. Stroll through homes without the crowds. Enjoy hearty hors d’oeuvres and decadent Christmas goodies, and place bids on Silent Auction items, at the “Kaffee Haus” until 9:00. Tickets are $100 per person.
Homes will be open during the daylight–for those age 13 and older–on Friday, December 2, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The “Kaffee Haus” will be open until 4:00. Tickets for Friday and Saturday will be $15 per person and includes Christmas cookies, coffee, and hot apple cider.
Tickets are available for either the preview night (limited to 100 tickets at $100 each), or the regular tour days, (at $15 each.) Sending a check payable to “MCH Foundation,”to Rich Criss, 603 Diamond Court, Morrison, IL 61270. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Tickets will be mailed within three business days.
