If you had entered the Lobby of Morrison Community Hospital, 300 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023, you were greeted with the sweetest of aromas. MCH Auxiliary members held their annual Bake Sale in the hallway. A trio of long tables were covered in handmade sweet and savory treats.
Additionally, the Dietary Department sold out their burritos and cinnamon rolls.
When the Editor arrived ten minutes before the Friday closing, this is all that remained. Those items were being sold at half price. Karen Price noted the sales were quite successful. “We raised almost $1000,” she said.
Auxiliary sales income is used to purchase hospital/patient improvements and to offer High School student scholarships.
