Morrison Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to honor its newest member, McDonald’s, at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. The restaurant is located at 606 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.
Shown left-to-right are Board Member Dana Verdick; Chamber Member Stephanie Vavra; Manager Molly Johll; Director of Operations John Leu; Chamber Coordinator Meridith Layne; Board Member Kevin Schisler; City Council Alderman Mick Welding.
Johll has worked for the McDonald’s corporation 17 years; she began work in Morrison in February 2017. She oversees “about 45” employees. There are new options for customers.
- Oreo Frappes
- $1 soft drinks (any size) through October
- Signature Crafted Recipe Sandwiches (grilled or crispy chicken and beef) offer 18 unique combinations of ingredients. Build your ideal sandwich by choosing a bun, protein, and toppings.
Leu “has been my supervisor all that time.” He “wanted McDonald’s to be more active in the [Morrison]community. One way was to join the Chamber,” Johll stated.
“I’m just really excited to meet and get to know the locals and see how we can help out in the community,” she added.
