May Day at Resthave Care & Rehabilitation

Posted by

JenWatersLuellaBuisKarla Burn, Marketing Director, reported, “Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, made and delivered 99 May Day baskets for all of our Residents.”  She stated there are 35 residents in the Assisted Living wing and 64 residents in the Long Term and Skilled Care area.

“We are taking new residents, but they must be COVID-19 free.”  Screening includes an intake interview with the person; his/her doctor history; family member interview; temperature check.  Residents practice six-foot social distancing in the facility and outside.  They receive meal trays to eat in their room; a few at a time are allowed to eat in the dining room.  When activities, such as Bingo or exercise, take place, residents come to their room entrance to participate.

Shown at left, Jen Waters, Assisted Living Activity Coordinator, handed Assisted Living resident Luella Buis a May Day basket containing chocolates and popcorn.  Baskets contained paper daffodils with centers of Hershey’s Kisses or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Jamie Troutman, Assisted Living Director, is shown with pretty May Day baskets.
