Join us for the Opening Day of the Morrison Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 24, 2014, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The market is open every Saturday, May 24, through September 27, rain or shine, in the parking lot behind Whiteside County Juvenile Services, 204 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL.
The Morrison Farmers’ Market is happy to open the market for the 2014 season and bring you lots of wonderful products–from both new and returning vendors! Opening Day you will find a great selection of annuals and perennials, vegetable garden plants, hanging flower baskets, asparagus, rhubarb, lettuce, radishes, baked goods, honey, cheese, and one-of-a-kind gifts made by our local artisans.
In celebration of Opening Day, the first 200 visitors to the market will receive a free market bag, compliments of Farmers National Bank. Musical entertainment will be provided by the ever-popular guitar sounds of Jim Seeley, Jr.
Make this the summer you experience “The Best Little Farmers’ Market in Northwest Illinois!” Musical entertainment, kids’ day, Featured Vendor giveaways, cooking demonstrations, bring-your-pet-to-the-market, and an Evening Market on Wednesday, July 30, featuring “a taste of Morrison” are just some of the fun things planned for this season.
