Mary K. Bonneur, 93, of Morrison, IL, surrounded by her family, went to be with her Lord, on Friday, May 20, 2016, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL.
Mary Katherine Riley Bonneur was born to Elmer C. and Alice M. (Hudelson) Riley in Perry, IL, on May 5, 1923. She graduated from Pittsfield, IL, High School, where she was active in FHA and Business Club and was a member of the National Honor Society. Mary K. was active in 4-H and Rural Youth in Pike County, IL. She attended GEM City Business College in Quincy, IL, and worked at the Farm Bureau Building in Pittsfield. In 1945, she moved to Morrison to work as secretary to the Farm Adviser for the U of I Cooperative Extension Service. There she met her husband. She married Eugene Bonneur on March 20, 1948, in Pittsfield. Mary K. was a member of the former Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; her children, Diane Sexton of Frankfort, IL; son-in-law, David Rose of Morrison; Brian (Cindy) Bonneur of Morrison; Janice (Scott) Webster of Quincy; her grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan) Phillips, Rebecca (Chris) Kates, Dawn (Jeremy) Roberts, Peter (Hannah) Rose, Andrew (Christine) Bonneur, Nicholas (Giana) Bonneur, Kara (Scott) Williams, Kelsey Webster (fiancé Andrew VonderHaar), and Brenna Webster; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl (Marilyn) Riley of Pittsfield; sister, Nadine Riley of Ottawa, IL; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Karen Rose.

VISITATION: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
INTERMENT: Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL
A memorial to the American Cancer Society in honor of her daughter, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and father-in-law, has been established.
